Information You Choose to Send
If you contact Ohr Zarua by email, WhatsApp, phone, donation platform, newsletter link, or application form, the information you provide may include your name, contact details, message content, donation details, application background, or other information you choose to share.
For halachic questions, especially Taharas HaMishpacha or Niddah-related questions, please send only what is necessary at first. Sensitive question details should not be placed in URLs, public comments, ad parameters, or analytics fields.
How Information Is Used
Information may be used to respond to inquiries, review Beis Midrash applications, process donations through the configured giving platform, send requested Torah emails, maintain basic records, and improve the website and outreach.
Ohr Zarua does not sell personal information. Sensitive halachic question content is not used to build advertising audiences, retargeting lists, Customer Match lists, lookalike audiences, or personalized ad segments.
Analytics and Advertising Measurement
Ohr Zarua may use privacy-conscious website analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement to understand broad actions, such as application clicks, donation clicks, email clicks, WhatsApp clicks, or newsletter signup actions.
These measurements should use broad event names only. They should not include private question text, form answers, names, emails, phone numbers, religious details, donor notes, or other identifying content as event parameters.
Third-Party Services
The site may link to third-party services such as email, WhatsApp, Google Forms, Donorbox, newsletter platforms, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, or Firebase Hosting. Those services may process information under their own privacy policies.
When a visitor leaves ohrzarua.org for a third-party form, payment page, email client, or WhatsApp, that service's own terms and privacy practices may apply.
Security and Retention
Ohr Zarua uses HTTPS for the website. No website transmission or third-party platform can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so sensitive questions should be shared with discretion and only through direct private channels.
Records may be kept as needed for response, donation, application, religious guidance, legal, accounting, or operational purposes. Unneeded sensitive details should not be collected through website analytics or advertising tools.
Contact
For privacy questions, corrections, or removal requests, contact Ohr Zarua directly.
This policy may be updated as the website, donation process, newsletter platform, analytics setup, or application process changes.
